As you finish completing your applications, you need to include:
- Your résumé
- Statement explaining your financial need and why you are interested in franchising
- Business plan, if applicable
- A copy of your transcript if possible
Keep a copy for your files and send one to the FCES.

Franchise Center Educational Seminar Application
Local businesses have established a scholarship program that where scholarships will be awarded to potential individuals interested in attending the 2½ Day Seminar.
Scholarship Application
The scholarship covers the registration/tuition fee for the entire program.
Application is due two weeks before the Seminar.

Criteria for the awarding of the scholarship
- Preference shall be given to an individual who is:
a) historically underrepresented; and
b) an entrepreneur.
- Preference shall be given to an individual who exhibits need for financial aid.
- Preference shall be given to an individual who plans to operate a business in City of Amarillo.
- Preference shall be given to an individual seeking to:
a) open a franchise;
b) establish a new business; or,
c) explore new business ideas.
- A key criterion shall be that the individual selected has a demonstrated history of academic achievement.
