Professional Experience:
Jeff Reid is a long time resident of the Texas Panhandle having grown up in Canyon where he attended the Canyon public schools beginning with first grade and continuing through graduation from Canyon High School. Growing up, he worked in his father’s home construction business and after graduating from West Texas State University he started his own residential construction business. After owning and operating this business successfully for a number or years he spent fourteen years in commercial banking as a credit analyst, commercial lender and corporate trust officer. He has been associated with the West Texas A&M University Small Business Development Center for three years which provides consulting, training and research services to small business owners throughout the Panhandle. His interests outside of work include fishing, snow skiing, backpacking and working in his shop. His wife Diane of twenty five years is a career educator and his two sons attend Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
